A Tribute to Amado Guerrero
on his Birthday Anniversay

BLADES OF WORDS

Across the mists of years
You have trekked brisk and strong.
The sharp of your eyes deftly snips
The lush talahib along the way, sweeps
The barbs and thorns of the sampinit

As sharp are the blades of your words
That slice to bits and shreds the grasses,
As you chase the shadows of treachery
That have long covered the glistening
Dewdrops – oh, how they mirror
The crystal clear gleams of truth.

The makahiya on the fields
Are burnt and scorched to ashes
Sprinkled by the drizzle of words
As your tongue carefully probes into
The rights and wrongs of the past.
And what your keen eyes gather
Are pure shining beads of the lost
Epic stories of the past : the strivings
And struggles for the cause of Freedom
And Democracy waged gloriously by
Gat Andres Boniofacio, Emilio Jacinto,
And the countless heroes of the masses
Whose names have not been stitched
On the glorious hymns of battles
Against the oppressors of the race.

The enemy is shaken by the intense
Throbs of your heart for the Nativeland!
The boughs of the forest trees sway!
A piercing battlecry resounds in the air!
As you scatter across the land like beads
Of pearl the clarion calls to the Youth:
Struggle for National Democracy!

The swing of your word reechoes,
Grasped by legions of youthful hearts
In the cities, shores, and countryside.
And soon an awesome storm rages
In the First Quarter of Dekada Sitenta!
That shakes the foundation props
Of the reactionary classes of the land!

Since then… after the uprooting of
Betrayals, the New Katilpunan emblem
Splendidly flies over the Islands!
And your name as beacon shines,
And the blades of your words pierce deep
Into the core of every mind and heart –
They cheerily embrace the correctness
Of the incisive traces of your analysis
Of Philippine Society and Revolution!

And one day in the month of December
Sees the birthing of a New Revolution–
The true child of the 1896 Revolution
Started by Andres Bonifacio! — Now
Led by the Party of the Downtrodden!

Let us embrace Amado Guerrero
Whose blades of words cut up all
The obstacles that stand on the way
To establish a trail for the struggle
Of the revolutionaries of our time!
Let us honor the music of his name!
On this anniversary of his Birthday!
Long live Amado Guerrero!
The true revolutionary!
A true child of Andres Bonifacio!
True leader of Philippine Revolution!

Pasidungog-Dayeg kang Amado Guerrero
sa kasumaran sa iyang Adlawng Natawhan

SUWAB SA PULONG

Latas sa mga gabon sa katuigan
Naglakat kang piskay ug kusganon.
Gihagbas sa lantip sa imong mata
Ang labong nga kabugangan,
Ang mga dapaw ug tunok sa sampinit

Lantip sab ang suwab sa imong pulong
Mihiwa-hiwa sa kasagbotan sa agianan,
Gibugtaw mo ang mga anino sa pagluib
Nga nagsalimbong sa naggilak-gilak
Nga mga yamog – ay, gisalamin niini
Ang katin-aw ug kadalisay sa kamatuoran.

Nangasunog ug nangapaig
Ang mga kipi-kipi sa mga nataran
Napiksan sa taligsik sa imong pulong
Samtang giukay sa imong dila
Ang mga husto ug sayop sa kagahapon.

Maoy nahipos sa imong kalimutaw
Ang mga timgas nga mga lugas
Sa nawaning mga asoy sa nangagi :
Mga panimpalad sa kawsa sa Kagawasan
Ug kaangayan nga gilusad nila ni
Gat Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Jacinto ,
Ug kapid-ang mga lumadnong bayani
Kansang mga ngalan wala mapalatay
Sa mahimayaong huni sa pakiggubat
Batok sa nang-ulipon sa kaliwat.

Mikurog ang kaaway sa kusganong pitik
Sa imong gugma alang sa Tabunong Yuta!
Mitabyog ang mga sanga sa kakahoyan!
Midahunog ang tiyabaw sa kahanginan!
Sa dihang gisabwag mo ang mga lusok
Sa gilaw-perlas nga mga tuwaw ug aghat
Sa Pakigbisog sa Nasudnong Demokrasya!

Milanog ang labyog sa imong pulong ,
Nasawod sa mga kasingkasing sa dakbayan,
Sa kabaybayonan, kapatagan, kabanikanhan.
Ug mihaguros ang tulukibong unos
Sayo sa mga tuig sa Dekada Sitenta!
Ug natay-og ang mga pundasyon sa pader
Sa reaksiyonaryong hut-ong sa katilingban!

Sukad niadto. .

— Karon
Gipangulohan sa Partido sa mga Linupigan,

Hangpon ta si Amado Guerrero kansang
Suwab sa pulong mihagbas sa tanang
Kasagbotan ug mga babag sa agianan
Aron magmugnag dalandalan sa Pakigbisog
Sa mga rebolusyonaryo ning atong panahon!
Ihuni ta sa pasidungog ang iyang ngalan!
Ning kasumaran sa iyang Adlawng natawhan!
Mabuhay si Amado Guerrero!
Tinuod nga rebolusyonaryo!
Tinuod nga liwat ni Andres Bonifacio!
Tinuod nga Lider sa Rebolusyong Pilipino!

Decision on the petition for proscription against the CPP-NPA as terrorist organizations filed by the DOJ on 21 Feb 2018 with the RTC branch...

The Program of the CPP which is also synonymous with “Plan of Action”, can be construed as the respondent organizations’ “purpose for being,” or the very reasons for its establishment. A perusal of the foregoing Program, consisting of lofty ideals readily shows that the CPP-NPA is organized or exists, not for the purpose engaging in terrorism.
