By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Founding Chairman, Communist Party of the Philippines
Chief Political Consultant, NDFP Negotiating Panel
18 October 2003

The occasion reminds the entire nation of the malevolent relationship between the imperialist superpower and the chief representative of local reactionary classes in perpetuating the semi-colonial and semi-feudal character of Philippine society, in escalating oppression and exploitation and maintaining the current anti-national, anti-democratic corrupt and brutal regime. more…

The US-Directed GMA-Reyes Tandem Blocks Formal GRP-NDFP Talks

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Chief Political Consultant
National Democratic Front of the Philippines
30 July  2003

Their trick in preventing the peace negotiations is to insult and challenge the NDFP by repeatedly telling it to capitulate or else suffer the worst of military campaigns. The way of capitulation offered is the immediate signing of a “final peace agreement” one-sidedly made by the GRP. The worst of military campaigns are already being waged under the pretext of war against terrorism and are sustained by US military intervention and increased military supplies from the Pentagon. more…

Protest Action by Hundreds of Soldiers Exposes Rottenness of US-Arroyo Regime

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Chairperson
International League of Peoples’ Struggle
28 July 2003

The grievances of the soldiers have reverberated not only throughout the Philippines but also the entire world. They are well-grounded. They should not be obscured by retaliatory attacks from the regime. They give the protesting soldiers the just and reasonable cause for demanding the resignation of President Arroyo and defense secretary General Angelo Reyes. more..

The broad masses of the people all over the world, including those in the US and imperialist countries allied with the US, have demonstrated their opposition to the impending war through gigantic protest actions. These are comparable in magnitude to those in the popular resistance against the US war of aggression against Vietnam in years 1965 to 1975. more…

PNP Murder Complaint Has Absolutely No Basis in Fact and in Law
By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
12 February 2003
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has absolutely no basis in fact and in law to file a murder complaint against me for the death of Col. Rodolfo Aguinaldo.
The attempt of the PNP to link me with those originally accused of being responsible for the killing of Col. Aguinaldo is manifestly contrived and malicious. I have no connection whatsoever with anyone of them. more…

Macapagal Arroyo is Prejudicing Resumption of GRP-NDFP Peace Negotiations
By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
28 January 2003
The military, police, paramilitary and “vigilante” forces of the US-directed Macapagal-Arroyo regime launch killing operations with impunity against the revolutionary forces and the people. Since Macapagal-Arroyo came to the presidency in January 2001, they have committed gross human rights violations, surpassing in two years the number of similar violations during the six years of the Ramos regime. more…

Decision on the petition for proscription against the CPP-NPA as terrorist organizations filed by the DOJ on 21 Feb 2018 with the RTC branch...

The Program of the CPP which is also synonymous with “Plan of Action”, can be construed as the respondent organizations’ “purpose for being,” or the very reasons for its establishment. A perusal of the foregoing Program, consisting of lofty ideals readily shows that the CPP-NPA is organized or exists, not for the purpose engaging in terrorism.
