After his 20-year collection of photos in thousands were inadvertently deleted a few days ago by a techie who had not made a back-up, Prof. Jose Maria Sison made a call to his colleagues, relatives and friends to send him photos in which he appears alone or with others in various events so that he could rebuild his photo collection.
Many responded positively to the call. Among those who responded have started to send photos which Prof. Sison previously had and did not have.
Among the most interesting are photos of his youth, copies of which he did not have in his destroyed collection. Examples are those below with Joma as gold medalist high school graduate, as general secretary of the Movement for the Advancement of Nationalism, together with Sen. Lorenzo Tanada and other senior MAN leaders, as Kabataang Makabayan chairman and as Lapiang Manggagawa general secretary with senior labor leaders like Amado V. Hernandez and Felixberto Olalia.
