US ADMISSION OF CIA TORTURE WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY
IS AGAINST US AND INTERNATIONAL LAW AND IS NOT ENOUGH

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Chairperson, International League of Peoples’ Struggle
December 13, 2014

On the eve of the International Human Rights Day last December 9, the US Senate Intelligence Committee, chaired by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California), released the  525-page summary of the 6,700-page report on the program of  “enhanced interrogation techniques”  (torture) used by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in the name of counterterrorism in the years of the Bush II regime, following 9/11.  The full report is based on 6.3 million pages of official documents.

OF THE STUDENTS AND THE PEOPLE OF MEXICO

By Prof. Jose Maria Sison
Chairperson, International League of Peoples’ Struggle
November 29, 2014

To all the member-organizations and allies of  the International League of Peoples’  Struggle

And to the working class and peoples of the world:

We in the International League of Peoples’ Struggle (ILPS), have followed with great attention and indignation the aggression which the workers and people of Mexico have been victims of.   We have observed that since Enrique Peña Nieto became President of Mexico, the offensive against the people has been devastating; structural reforms have been imposed,  increasing Mexico’s economic dependence on US imperialism; Plan Merida has been reinforced in order to strengthen the Yankee military control in the region, and recently the participation of the Mexican Army in the badly named Peace Force (Blue Helmets) has been approved, which exposes that the Mexican government is a puppet of Barack Obama.
